Bayside’s 3rd full length album has been released in stores today. I have held out from hearing it until I get the physical copy in my hands, and I’m extremely excited to give it a listen.

Expect a full review of this and also Fall Out Boy’s new one on TUG coming shortly.

You know you want to. Order Maynard James Keenan and the rest of the Tool mate’s soon-to-be masterpiece, 10,000 Days over at TheUbergeeks.net.

Kevin is going home

March 9, 2006

Despite my love for Kevin, I think he has reached the end of the line on this year’s American Idol. I stuck up for him the last two weeks and was even shocked when he was in the bottom 3 last week. However, this week’s song was his worst yet, any song that starts with “Starry Starry Night”, and you know there is going to be problems.

Personally, I would love to see Bucky and Wil go home. I feel they are the least talented in the competition, but since neither were in the bottom three last week, it is a safe bet to say that Kevin is going home.

Does anyone else think that Simon has been spot on this season? I mean for the judges to say that Ace’s performance was without flaw is ridiculous. At one point the entire room of people I was with last night turned around and said “WTF” when one of his notes was really off. Simon was the only one with the balls to say he f-ed up, and I agreed with him 100%.

AirTunes with Airport Express

November 26, 2005

I finally did it. After months of deliberation, talking, and put off, I finally got my apartment setup with AirTunes with Airport Express.

The first thing I had to get was a new stereo (which I wouldn’t recommend picking up on Black Friday) that had inputs to plug the stereo cables into. My old stereo wouldn’t do the trick and wouldn’t have sounded as good as this one anyway.

I had a couple of weird issues setting up AirTunes, though. First time through, it only let me use AirTunes if I was using my Airport Express for Ethernet as well. Then I deleted the Airport as a connection to the Internet (which didn’t work anyway). Once I did this, it would not find my Airport Express. I restarted a couple times and opened the setup assistant again and again, and one time it just worked, for some odd reason.

Oh well, at least it works now. I do have some weird issues with the music stopping for about two seconds, even when this computer isn’t doing anything. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, what did you do to resolve it?
